According to the Associated Press, Winehouse will appear in court in Bergen, Norway on Feb. 29 as part of the standard legal process when appealing a conviction. "I can confirm that she must appear in court," said Bergen police spokeswoman Liv Karlsen. "If one appeals a conviction, it's the rule that one has to appear in person, so this is not surprising." As SOHH previously reported, Winehouse and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, were arrested in Norway on Oct. 18 for possession of about 1/4-ounce of marijuana.
